As a Pharmacy Technician at Neosho Memorial, you’ll assist in various pharmacy activities, under the supervi! sion of a licensed pharmacist, and other duties not requiring the review of a pharmacist. The majority of tasks and responsibilities are related to preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications. Other duties include maintaining patient records, and setting up, packaging, and labeling of medication doses and billing. You will perform job duties under minimal supervision within pharmacy standards, written procedures and guidelines, and state regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for the accurate completion of daily activities and the follow through of tasks to ensure completion. This position is scheduled 40 hours per week 7:30a-5p and every other weekend 7:30-Noon. When working the weekend; you will have either Tuesday or Thursday off during the week .
Qualifications:
- Current/active KS licensure as a Pharmacy Technician required
- National PTCB preferred
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program preferred Recent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospit! al setting preferred

The pharmacy is staffed by three pharmacists, including the! Director of Pharmacy, as well as two technicians. Automation includes Pyxis MedStation 3500, Pyxis Connect, and Siemens Pharmacy Software. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5 pm, and from 7:30 am to noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Remote entry is performed by pharmacist after hours. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to CPS.
