Previous Director experience is not required--candidates with a ! strong clinical background and a desire to advance their careers will be considered.
Job Description:
The Director establishes and enforces policies, procedures, standards and objectives. Directs and supervises staff as well as work flow. Position has budgetary or fiscal accountability. Responsible 24 hours a day for the ongoing effective operation of the Pharmacy by exerting a leadership role which supports the hospital's mission, vision, goals and objectives, while focusing on the patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and the community as customers. Ongoing accountability for the continuous assessment, improvement, coordination and integration of the department services and standards of care into the hospital's primary function. Position is responsible for approving timekeeping, employee evaluation, meeting applicable regulatory standards and approving supply orders. Must be a relationship builder, work well with people, have excellent communicat! ion and collaboration skills as well as be able to lead and mo! tivate others to succeed.

Requirements:
Must have at least 3-5 years of hospital experience
Prefer PharmD, BS candidates accepted with strong experience
Prefer some level of supervisory experience--candidates with a strong clinical background and extensive years of experience will be considered
