Position Description:
The Organizational Change Specialist leads and coordinates the system performance improvement workout initiatives. Acts as a resource for leadership in all aspects of process improvement. Utilizes Lean / Six S! igma techniques to help the organization improve quality of se! rvices, improve work flow, improve customer satisfaction, eliminate waste, and improve financial performance.
4 Year/Bachelors Degree - In a health care field - Required
Master's degree in a health care field -Preferred
Experience:
5 years of recent professional work in a health care field. - Required
10 years of recent professional work experience in a health care field with some documented management experience. - Preferred
Knowledge, Skills:
Organizational: Experience in health care performance improvement activities.
Microsoft Office: Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Verbal Communication: Strong face-to-face presentation skills, including individuals and large groups.
Workload may, at times, be demanding, prompting the need to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, subject t! o reasonable accommodations.
License, Registration and/or Certification:
Registered Nurse Licensure, Respiratory Therapy Licensure, Pharmacist Licensure, Physical Therapy Licensure, CLS Licensure, or similar health care-related licensure by the state of Kansas. Preferred
Recent clinical experience: Preferred
Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification within 180 days of hire. Candidate must advance to Black Belt Certification within 1 year of hire.
