UVANTA is dedicated to serving the pharmacy needs of our facilities and hospice organizations in Kansas City and surrounding areas. From our state-of-the art facility in Lenexa we offer a full range of pharmacy services and the newest generation of dispensing and clinical technology.
Seeking a Night Time Pharmacist to join our growing team of professionals. As a team member you will receive a competitive compensation package and employer sponsored benefits. This position will be a full time position working 10:00pm â€" 8:00pm rotating seven days on and seven days off.
Responsibilities and Duties
Supervise the packaging, compounding, and labeling of medication according to policy and legal requirements, ensuring quality, security, and accurate dispensing.
Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage.
Collaborate with other health care professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of drugs and drug regimens, providing advice on drug applications and characteristics.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced working environment.
Qualifications and Skills
BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D
Valid pharmacist license in the State of KS.
Long Term Care/Hospice Pharmacy experience (Preferred)
