You will be working as Transport, Trade & Logistics Specialist and will be the part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to TMC Manager and will be responsible to implement, initiate, and perform materials’ transport and trade transactional activities, so as to maintain and develop logistics strategies and function performance in accordance with agreed business plans
Your responsibilities

Communicating with purchasing department for import activity, communicating effectively and following up daily operations with service providers, managing, monitoring, confirming and communicating the booking process for shipments in scope- Communicate across different the different functions (Purchasing/PM, GBS , IC , Finance .. etc.) as required to get the job done.
- Tracking and tracing the shipments as needed to ensure actual status, ensuring and validating all required documents received from purchasing/PM
- Evaluating and keeping track of service providers performance KPIs, reviewing and approving service providers invoices regarding to the contracts, offers and agreed rates
- Packing and stuffing process awareness, ensuring the daily customs transactions including, import & customs clearance requirements for shipments in scope are met and understanding tariff classification and free trade agreements
- Ensuring customs compliance in accordance to import regulations, ensuring that customs brokers and logistics service providers are using adequate data for the issuance of the customs declarations
- Managing and maintaining a record keeping system for import transactions, free trade agreements, drawbacks and other programs according to the country's requirements, analyzing import and export data as required and follow up with customs brokers to insure proper classification and compliance
- Maintaining appropriate records and reports, making sure that the Buyer/Requester has obtained the shipping approval as per the authority government LAW and provided ACID for factories before to start the shipping process
Your background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, or other relevant majors
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Ownership and planning skills, excellent negotiation skills, problem solving and professional thinking skills, can handle pressure and control conflicts
- High level of communication skills that guarantee excellent relations with authorities and service providers
- Sourcing and contracting skills, sense of urgency and follow up skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic language is mandatory and French is a plus
