The Staff Pharmacist I performs all accountabilities associated with compounding, dispensing, & clinical monitoring of medications for pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric patients to achieve optimal outcomes. Responds to requests for drug information & provides medication use education. Supervises Pharmacy Technicians, Student Interns and Volunteers. B.S Pharmacy or Pharm.D. and Licensed (or license-eligible) to practice pharmacy in Kansas required. ACLS Certification preferred. Completion of an ASHP-approved residency or BPS Board Certification and 1 yr prior pharmacy experience preferred. 1 to 2 yrs hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
