Growing Kansas City area Specialty Home Infusion company seeks qualified candidates to fill the role of Vice-President/Pharmacy Operations. Manage and provide oversight of all pharmacy operations including budgeting, inventory management, personnel management, program development, and the overall quality of the infusion therapy services. Standardize all pharmacy operations consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies.
REQUIREMENTS :
1. Registered Pharmacist - Licensed in the state of practice.
2. Ability to achieve licensure in additional states.
3. 10+ years administrative and management experience.
4. 5+ years in chronic medication delivery and/or Infusion Therapy management expertise. Home infusion experience is strongly desired.
5. 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, specialty pharmacy industry, and current awareness of the marketplace.
6. Knowledgeable and experienced with HIPAA, OSHA, & JCAHO
7. Multi-site and/or multi-state pharmacy management experience strongly preferred.
8. Exceptional interpersonal, listening, organizational, presentation, and critical thinking skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. National oversight and direction of all pharmacy functions.
2. Standardization of pharmacy operations across existing sites and acquired sites as they occur
3. Coordination with VP of Clinical Operations to oversee the quality of care.
4. Responsible for all aspects of pharmacy licensure in multiple states.
5. Maintain JCAHO accreditation.
6. Work with manufacturers to build positive working relationships.
7. Monitor for compliance with all HIPAA regulations, adherence to all State and Federal regulations and laws, JCAHO, adherence to all infusion pharmacy accepted standards of practice, responsible for handling complaints and/or grievance programs.
8. Ensure all mandatory education is provided to pharmacy staff upon hire and annually per policy.
9. Development of new programs as new services is provided and as determined by the governing board.
10. Represent the company in clinical interactions as required.
11. Manage development and maintenance of Pharmacy Policies and Procedures for organization, including edits and annual review.
12. Assist in the assessment and development of new business opportunities.
13. Develop, implement and monitor Quality Assurance Program for all locations.
