As a RN - Licensing and Regulatory Specialist with Gentiva , you will:
- Complete non-clinical research of state-by-state regulatory requirements for field and other internal departments to support strategic business opportunities. Prepare written reports of findings and disseminate information to all concerned parties.
- Participate in departmental planning meetings and provide input relating to department needs and plans to support strategic business plans/changes.
- Complete/file all application forms and reports relating to home health, pharmacy, hospice and staffing location licenses/certifications, medical waste/laboratory registrations and any other required licenses as assigned.
- Complete federal survey disclosure of ownersh! ip forms for assigned homecare locations.
- Communicate! with state agency staff to provide administrator/pharmacist in charge/laboratory director, address and service changes; providing documentation (i.e., resumes) to verify administrator/pharmacist in charge qualifications to meet state/federal regulatory standards. Complete required state statistical/demographic annual reports/surveys for assigned locations.
- Act as a liaison to state/federal agency officials. Provide information/documentation required to open home health parent/branch, pharmacy, staffing offices, expand geographical service areas, etc.
- Bachelorâs Degree in Business or the equivalent
- A minimum of two years experience or in a business/healthcare environment generally required
- Strong organizational/communication/analytical skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
