Executes the non-judgmental tasks of the Department of Pharmacy to assist in the safe, ! accurate and timely management of medications. These duties include preparing medications & IV admixtures for Pharmacist''s verification, stocking automated dispensing cabinets, answering telephone and department doors/windows, performing unit inspections, departmental billing, & dosage calculations. The position is supervised by Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Operations Coordinator and/or the Director of Pharmacy.
High School diploma or GED required. Must have current certification as a CPhT or obtain within 6 months of employment. Must be familiar with pharmacy practice in a hospital setting. Experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred.
