CHC health centers utilize Cerner's software solutions to manage patient information and health records, as well as to measure, monitor, and improve care delivery. CHC currently operates more than 25 health centers throughout United States. CHC services combine the strength of Cerner's 30 years of technology innovation and knowledge working with healthcare providers around the world.
Responsibilities
The Pharmacist is a health practitioner who specializes in dispensing medications prescribed by physicians or other providers. The Pharmacist counsels patients about the safe and effective! use of their prescription medications and over-the-counter dr! ugs. They work as part of the health care team to help patients receive optimal drug therapy and to improve or enhance the patient quality of life. This can include assisting with cost-effective prescribing or the use of over-the-counter medications. They participate in disease-state management, working in collaboration with the physician and other health professionals to optimize and monitor drug therapy. The Pharmacist must understand the composition and use of medications, as well as the laws that regulate their manufacture and sale.
The hours of the pharmacy are 8-6 Monday-Thursday and 8-5 on Fridays. There are no nights, weekends, or holidays.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
RPH or PharmD
Must be licensed in good standing, or license eligible, in the State of Kansas
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years previous Community Pharmacy experience
