Tasks:
- Introduction of new products/processes: Interface with Optimap/Optipro team.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Logistics to develop and implement optimal flow, storage, and layout solutions (for new products and process changes as well as continuous improvement for existing flows).
- Monitor compliance with safety guidelines in area of responsibility
- Prepare supply chain KPIs and update corresponding action plans for review by the Plant Logistic Manager
- Best practices as well as maintenance and optimization of the supply chain systems (production planning, EDI)
- Continuous improvement of upstream, internal and downstream physical and information flows based on lean principles and PO best practices
- Establish optimal inventory levels at each stage of the production process and reduce inventory levels
- Responsible for logistics FMEA
- Perform time studies
- Specify information systems requirements
- Lead workshops and conduct training sessions
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree with work experience or master's degree
- Experience with a module or system supplier to the automotive industry or with a logistics provider
- Good understanding of lean principles, supply chain tools, and principles in mechanical engineering
- Ability to work with 3D viewer software
- HSE mindset, customer focus, leadership, team spirit, self-starter
- Multifunctional and multicultural communication
- Good English and German language skills
- Willingness to travel
