SKOV continues its successful growth strategy and is now strengthening the focus on service in the Thai and Vietnamese market. As part of this development we are looking for an ambitious, proactive and resultsoriented Service Engineer, who is capable of profiling as well as handling SKOV's interests in Vietnam, Thailand and South East Asia together with the rest of the organization in SKOV Asia, Bangkok. You will carry out service activities in the area at mid-size and large poultry pig producers, comprising of regular service, supervision and commissioning of new installations. You should also develop the network directly to customers, partners and other stakeholders, so you will be the natural point of contact for service and technical advice. Travel activities to farms in Thailand and South East Asia will amount to approx. 80% of your time, 150 - 200 days per year.
You can look forward to a great range of exciting and varied tasks
- Plan, supervise and manage mechanical and electrical installations.
- Analyze and solve technical issues and provide technical advice to customers.
- Commissioning of ventilation systems in poultry and pig farms.
- Handle and manage customer enquiries.
- Training customers in the use of SKOV systems via site training, seminars and webinars.
- Taking part in meetings and negotiations with customers, suppliers and contractors.
- Make handover, service and progress reports.

To be a success, we expect that…
- You have a relevant technical degree, preferably in electrical engineering or similar and experience from an equivalent job as service technician/engineer.
- You have a background in agricultural, ventilation, automation or similar industries as well as a thorough technical understanding, preferably within climate solutions.
- You take a structured approach and handle situations without losing focus or the general picture.
- Secure high customer satisfaction, both technically and commercially and go the extra mile to ensure the customer are confident using SKOV systems.
- You can work independently, have a great work capacity and feel at ease managing people on site.
- You are a team player, being part of SKOV Asia Service Team.
- You ensure timely and effective response to customers and are flexible adjusting your work hours to suit customers’ requirements.
- You speak, read and write English at a high level.
- You are a competent PC user who can use various IT tools and you have a valid driving license.

Our new Service Engineer will be a part of the Service team in SKOV Asia. You will be reporting to the expatriate Project and Service Manager in the SKOV Asia office in Bangkok.
